 Climate change.

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperature and weather patterns, which is caused by the effects of global morning.

Global warming- is the long-term heating of Earth’s surface observed since the preindustrial period.

In the industrial period this is between the 1800 and the 1900 when human activities increased due to industrialization.



By know I know you already have a good idea of what global warming is and what causes it.

What causes global warming?

Increased temperatures as experienced in the USA

Servers storms as witnessed in the US.

Increased drought as in south Africa and some parts in Africa. 

Loss of species die to drought and hot temperatures

Not enough food as experienced in north eastern parts of Kenya.



Solutions

Switching to renewable energy

Turning of electricity when not using it.

Switching to bio degradable materials.

Proper waste management.

Continents that are major contributors to global morning to cut down on pollution.

Planting more trees.

Cycling or use of public transport 

Use of modern farming techniques. In south Africa large scale farmers have embraced the use of satellite to know the rain patterns and fertility of the soil in oder to know when to plant and what to plant.

Researchers in south Africa are doing research on a grass that's commonly found in the parts of East Africa. The grass is able to sustain it water even on the driest season. They believe that if they got an insight on what the grass uses, to sustain water, they can apply the same to plants.

South Africa is one of the many countries in Africa that has been hit drastically with drought. It has become harder for the government to provide water to it's citizens.

Another good news is that the biggest pollutiors china and USA have made an agreement to cut down on its fuel burning people from the US are slowly adopting to renewable energy.

The importance of the port of Mombasa to it's residents
