Toxic relationship's

By now most of have a good idea of what a toxic relationship is also by know we have other experienced or know someone who has been through a toxic relationship.

we have seen it as a headlines in our stations, so toxic relationship is not a new things to us.

Back when I joined campus, I lived in a small area in Mombasa, the rentals were new so there not soany people in the apartments , but as time went by students started moving in.

There’s this couple that got my attention and respect. I never believed that people could be perfect as they were. They were my neighbors so we had to interact. I got their number and they got mine. Everything was going on well.

But it reached a point they would be in and out arguments , this is normal so it was nothing to worry as as neighbors  but the arguments got louder and now it was a fight. The guy would hit her so bad and when she came asking for help he would hit her more. We tried convincing her to leave they guy but she couldn’t she was in love. He started threatening her, stalking her in return the girl became visty to us.

I don’t know if they are still together because I left that place but I hope she left that relationship.

There many toxic relationship’s in campus but this is what you should know:

-before dating get to know the person well ask about their past relationships and if they have anger problems or something of the sort.

-anything good for you is supposed to make you happy and help you grow, if you find yourself in a situation you are not happy or growing leave.

-toxicity starts with verbal abuse, don’t let it lead to fights

- both genders experience toxic relationship’s, it’s not a one sided sword.

- a relationship in not one sided

- know when to stay and when to run, know when to say no and when to ask for help

- if something is off ask for advice for a friend or someone else.
